FOL OFFERS ONE POSITION TO WORK ON MARINE PROTECTED AREAS KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER FOR SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL CLIMATE ADAPTATION IN THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA

The Future Oceans Lab, based on the Centro de Investigación Mariña (CIM) of the University of Vigo (Spain) is launching a call for a project researcher position. We are now open for expressions of interest, while the official call will be opening soon. We strongly encourage you to send your expression of interest as we expect the call to leave a short 1-week period to apply. Find the description of the position in this PDF.

The successful candidate will be involved in a new project on knowledge transference and capacitation for Mediterranean MPAs. The selected candidate will be coordinating the project tasks related to the transference of adaptation and mitigation tools (i.e. climate vulnerability assessments) and the implication of relevant stakeholders in the process. He/she will be supported by the Principal Investigator and project consortia, starting in March 2024. The subsequent research aims to enhance the resilience of Mediterranean coastal areas in view to support the good environmental status and sustainable use of marine ecosystems.

Interested candidates with good technical, language, and team work skills can express their interest now and later apply through the University of Vigo. Documentation that is needed includes a short CV, and a cover letter as indicated in the call announcement PDF.
