Biological Oceanography Group (GOB) of the Marine Research Center (CIM) at the University of Vigo will be launching a joint PhD student position together with Future Oceans Lab (FOL) next September. At this moment, we are accepting expressions of interest from prospective students, that can share a motivation letter and a CV following the indication in this PDF.

The successful candidate will enroll in the doctorate program Do Mar from Campus do Mar and will be co-supervised by Drs. Cristina Sobrino and Elena Ojea (University of Vigo), starting in fall 2023. The subsequent research deals with marine social-ecological risks to ocean acidification, and will be highly multidisciplinary, with with ecological, and social components.
