After one year and a half working on Future oceans Lab, the time to say goodbye to Raquel has come. She has been actively engaging in several projects during this time, working in the IPCC AR6 report, in the global initiative on mapping climate change adaptation (GAMI project) and other projects such as MPA-Engage.
Raquel gained new skills that allowed her to get a scholarship to carry out her PhD at the Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. There, she will be working on future impact of fishing and climate change on the Grand Bank ecosystem.
We will certainly missed her but know that we will cross paths sooner than later. We wish you the best in your new adventure Raquel!
