New Postdoctoral Position on econometrics/quantitative social-ecological science in CLOCK

We open a 2-year post-doc to explore the governance and management conditions that drive fisheries resilience

The Future Oceans Lab is excited to publish a job offer for a postdoctoral researcher with a background on quantitative approaches to environmental social sciences and economics.  This is a 2 year appointment full time to join our lab at the University of Vigo, Spain. The postdoctoral researcher will work with the Principal Investigator (Elena Ojea) and project team to explore the governance and management conditions that drive fisheries resilience. The successful candidate will join our European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant project “CLOCK: Climate Adaptation to Shifting Stocks”.  CLOCK conducts interdisciplinary science to address the new raising questions in climate change adaptation to shifting stocks. We are an active team of researchers in adaptation to climate change in marine systems, currently contributing to the 6th IPCC Assessment Report. Moreover, the candidate will have the chance to collaborate and conduct research stays in international cutting edge institutions.
