Seminar on marine shifting stocks at the University of Vigo
This Thursday, May 24th, at 11 am, FOL PhD candidate Alba Aguión will be presenting a collaborative work we are doing at the lab on shifting stocks at the University of Vigo. The talk will take place as part of the Café con sal seminar series organized by ECIMAT. Alba’s seminar entitled “Implications of the observed climate change distributional impacts in commercial marine species” will examine the socioeconomic consequences of climate change driven responses of exploited marine species. Diego Salgueiro, Iratxe Rubio and Elena Ojea are also co-authors of this ongoing research.
You can find more information here. We look forward to an inspiring talk and discussion at the assembly hall of the Faculty of Marine Sciences at the University of Vigo. Come join us!
