Iria García Lorenzo presents at the Interdisciplinary Fisheries Seminar Series next week
Next Wednesday, March 7, at 1pm, Iria García Lorenzo will be presenting her work on Galician fishermen’s associations at the Interdisciplinary Fisheries Seminar Series (IFS). IFS is the new seminar series at the University of Vigo presented by Campus do Mar and ECOBAS.
Iria’s seminar entitled “Participation in Fishermen’s Associations. Study applied to the small-scale fisheries of Galicia” will examine the factors affecting fishermen associations’ nature and internal structure, as well as their importance for overall fisheries management. Iria is a PhD candidate at Campus do Mar, where she is applying her interdisciplinary background in economics, management, and environmental science to study small-scale fisheries in Galicia.
