Collaboration in Famelab Spain 2017

As the last year winner, Alba Aguión will be collaborating in the event held in Madrid this week

Famelab is a science communication competition that aims to train and introduce new talents working in science in the world of communication using an innovative format: short scientific talks. As the last year winner, FOL PhD student Alba Aguión will be collaborating in the new edition of Famelab Spain held on May 24th in Madrid.

During the event, 8 finalists from different research fields will compete to become the winner of Famelab Spain 2017; who will then move on to compete against other international finalists for the title of FameLab International Champion at The Times Cheltenham Science Festival in June. This event has been running for five years in Spain, and the responsibles of its organization are the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and the British Council España in collaboration with “la Caixa” Foundation. From Future Oceans Lab, we want to with the best of luck to the 8 finalists!
